Trip to East Dhofar – afternoon
The journey will start from the hotel at 1:30 pm, heading toTeeq Cave and Tawi Ateer Sinkhole known as the Bird well gained international fame as one of the largest solvent sinkholes in the world. Then we will move to the top of Samhan Mountain to take a good view and moveing together with photography fans to Desert flower.
The third stop will be wadi Darbat, one of the most famous tourist locations in Dhofar Governate. Here we will see the waterfalls and the herds of camels.
After that we will stop at Khor Rori/ Sumhuram Archaeological Park. The city of Sumhuram was founded in the 4th century BC and abandoned in the 5th century AD. It was a very important harbor for the trade of frankincense. The Park includes a small museum and an information center.
Then we will move to our last stop at the top of the mountain(Al safah) where you can photographs fans of the sunset and take a drinking tea with Local bread.
After the tour, drive back to the hotel.
